Molding Department: three different working modes

CREATION OF THE PRODUCT BY MANUAL LAYER

The manufacturing of the product with manual stratification consists in the installation of layers of fiberglass soaked in resin and modeled on the mold thanks to the use of brushes and rollers. To guarantee the great versatility of fiberglass, this type of manual processing is considered particularly suitable for the creation of products with particularly complex shapes and even large ones.

CREATION OF THE PRODUCT THROUGH
LAYER WITH CUTTER-SPRAY

This type of processing allows partial mechanization of the molding phase of a fiberglass product. The spray lamination process allows you to speed up the laying of the different layers of material, thanks to a special gun equipped with a system for cutting the fiber threads and mixing them with the right quantity of catalyzed resin. The compound obtained is sprayed directly onto the surface of the mold to be coated, until the desired thickness is reached.

  • RTM MOLDING (Resin Transfer Molding)

CREATION OF THE PRODUCT WITH A VACUUM SYSTEM

– Faster processing times and greater versatility for the production of standard components, with the need for constant thickness of the finished piece;

– Reduction of emissions into the atmosphere;

RTM molding consists of the "dry" installation of the glass fiber reinforcement fabric. Once the mold is closed with a special counter-mold and put under pressure through the vacuum, the catalyzed resin is injected.
